DJYA in Collaboration with Jaffery Sports Dubai – Literary section has organized a debate program this Friday 3 September starting immediately after Zohrain namaaz.

 

All those interested in taking part in the debate are requested to see the topics as below and accordingly contact Br. Shameel Fazaldin on 0507080876, also the conundrum final which was started in June will be held.
Please note: -
•         We Will have 2 Debates and each debate will have 4 participants: - 2 for and 2 against.
•         There will be approximately 6 judges
•         Registration is on 1st come 1st serve basis
•         The whole program will end by 5pm.

1) Where is the line between helping others and ourselves in this global period of hardship?
 
2) Is CHANGE required in the way the community thinks?
 
3) Are social gatherings, like shisha sessions, an acceptable "Islamic" alternative to nights out with friends, like clubbing?
 
4) Marriage has become a fashion statement; which increases the chances of failure.
 
5) We are more depressed nowadays because our expectations are too high.
 
6) Achieving inner peace is no longer a priority.
 
7) People are driven by good leadership, not good pay.
 
8) Men and women should have equal rights in religion and in the professional working world.

The community is invited to attend and motivate the participants.
