CRITERIA:

• The quiz will run between 1-15th of Mahe Ramadhan. All entries should be submitted by the Wiladat of the 2nd Holy Imam (a.s.)

• There can be as many participants per family, provided they do not copy the answers from each other

• In the quiz for those aged 9-17, parents should not do the quiz for the children, rather they should encourage them to read the 40 Ahadith book themselves. They can, however, help them understand the Ahadith.

• The winners will be chosen by judges, if there is more than one winner, lots will be cast.

• There will be 3 Winners per category (i.e. Ages 9-17: 3 Winners, Ages 18 and above: 3 Winners

• All entries must be submitted on the form on this website only. There is no manual submission option.

• The contest is open to participants from all countries, however, for the winners, only entries from the United Arab Emirates will be considered for logistical reasons.

The Holy Prophet (p.bu.h.) has said:

 From among my followers, one who shall preserve and protect my forty ahadith, so that my people may be benefited from them, God Almighty will treat him on the Day of Resurrection with great men of wisdom and learning (jurisprudence).

FOR ALL THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS, PLEASE QUOTE THE PART OF THE HADITH THAT GIVES YOUR ANSWER AND ALSO MENTION THE HADITH NUMBER. FOR E.G.

Q. What has the 8^th Imam said about those who disregard the Quran?

The answer should be like this:

Hadith # 5 “Do not disregard the Words of Allah, and do not seek guidance from other than Him, for then (surely) you will go astray”

• Please note that sometimes you might not need to quote the whole hadith.

• Please do not write the answers in your words. You must quote the relevant hadith and its number as it appears in the book.

Each of the following questions is worth 3 points, 2 points are for the actual hadith and 1 point is for the hadith number.
