Sr. Selina Zohrain Kassamali

Selina Kassamali qualified from the University of London with a BA in French and Spanish and then went on to gain her PGCE from the University of Portsmouth, UK. She has been working as a secondary school languages teacher for the past 8 years and is currently working at an International School in Dubai.

Selina has taught at and has spent time working with various madressas, training teachers and producing resources with the aim of motivating the youth. She has also spent time working for IEB in Qum and is currently studying Arabic part-time.

 

Sh. Abbas Ahmed Virjee

Sh. Abbas Ahmed Virjee is a qualified pharmacist from the University of London.

He spent a year in Damascus studying Arabic, and then 3 years in Qum concentrating mainly on Islamic Spirituality, Self Development & Mysticism.

Currently, he is in the final stages of his Masters Degree in Islamic Studies at SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) at the University of London.

 

Syed Ibn Hassan Naqvi

 

Syed Ibn Hassan Naqvi comes from India, but resides in Damascus for the last 10 years.

He is currently doing his Masters in the knowledge of Qur'an and Hadith, and has extensive information about historical places in Syria.
