Al Mahdi Summer Camp 2005
This
year Al-Mahdi Summer Camp was arranged for boys and girls between
the ages of 3-10 yrs. This camp was held at the Madrasah Complex in
Garhoud from 2nd-14th July 2005. This year a total of 33 children
attended the camp!
Our
goal was to teach our children Islami c
education with lots of fun activities and hands on experience
through the summer camp.
The
theme of Al-Mahdi camp this year was to create awareness of our
Marj’aa and our awaited Imam Mahdi (A)
Some
of the other topics that were covered were Halaal and Haraam and its
effects. Eating Ettiquettes, Asraaf etc. Art and cooking were part of
the daily activities.
A
dentist was invited to come and share some tips on oral hygiene. All
The kids were given tooth brushes to take home!
During these two weeks a couple of field trips were arranged. A trip
to the encounter zone and an Ice Skating session to
Al Nasr Leisureland.
On
behalf of Education Board of Dubai, we would like to thank all the
volunteers who have worked very hard and have devoted their precious
time for Islam. This camp would not have been possible without you
all!
